Dixie’s Safety Program is overseen by Thomas Harris. Tom has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety and 25+ years of growing experience with the evaluation of safety throughout the United States. During his career, Tom has successfully managed safety programs within various industries including General Industry, Maritime, Federal Railroad and Major Construction. As a Safety Director, Tom deeply values people and the relationships awarded to him. Shane Housley

Quality Manager

Dixie’s Quality Control Program is managed by Shane Housley, a veteran of 20+ years in industrial fabrication and inspection. In addition to his essential management role, Shane is one of Dixie’s two certified welding inspectors, a member of the American Welding Society and holds Level II Certification for PT, MT inspection and RT Interpretation in accordance with ASNT-TC-1A.

Ed Maier

Business Development

Ed joined Dixie Mechanical in 2012 as an independent sales representative for the Northeast.Within a short period of time, Ed assumed a national Business Development role, helping to expand Dixie’s customer base into additional industrial markets throughout the U.S.

At present, Ed is helping to develop customer relationships in the renewable energy, semiconductor manufacturing and EV/battery markets.

At present, Ed works remotely from his South Carolina office and also pens Dixie’s monthly newsletter.
